Warning: Rant ahead.

Yea. I’m taking life by the balls and making it my own. I’ve been a pushover for 20 years now, oh but that’s about to change. I’ve had a revelation recently. I will no longer be dealing with bullshit that comes my way at any time from here on out. People suck! (Well, a lot of the time anyway.) I’ve been being stepped on, looked over, used and abused for too damn long! I mean, I’ve been dealing with:

• Amateur/n00b “Web Designers”
• Affies in it for hits! x0
• Starbucks Customers
• Starbucks Managers!
• My (Immediate) Family
• My “Ex-Lover”

And I’m still alive, right? There must be some balls in me! (No pun intended.. If that could even be a pun.)

So here’s how it goes. This new design was made for me, by me. If you don’t like it, go fuck a duck! x0 I’ll also be cussing all the hell I want in my own damn blog! Whether or not it makes any damn sense! And I plan to personally change the concept of Personal Web Design as we all know it, little by little, all on my own. You’ll all thank me in the long run.

(Random) My future will include all or at least one of the following:

• A Semester or Two of Schooling in a Foreign Country
• Some Sort of Certificate for “Excellent [Graphic/Web] Design”
• My Own Fashion Line (Spring 2012, bet on it.)
• Dinner with Denzel Washington.
• Lunch with Obama.
• Breakfast with Takeru Kobayashi.
• The list continues…

Also, I will be listing things ALL THE TIME, because that’s just how my brain works. So expect list-oriented designs at this domain. And speaking of domains, expect a name change in oh… about 6 months.

Hello fellow web-owners, bloggers, and designers. Yes, I’m still alive. No, Cianopi has not been abandoned. No, I haven’t been returning comments and answering emails, but yes I’ll be back on track with everything soon.
Now that we’re all clear on that, let me let you know that I’ll be updating tomorrow. (That’s Jan. 06 for me.) This update may or may not include a new layout (ooh, mysterious). XD So please stay tuned. Happy 2010! And thanks for all the gifts! :3

I got the job! I started working for Starbucks on Wednesday the 16th. It’s only been a week, but since I’m full time it feels like I’ve been working there for a month. The one I work at is the busiest in the district! As a matter of fact it’s so busy there that I haven’t even learned to brew drinks yet. XD But it’s fun and exciting working there nonetheless. I have great partners/co-workers to help me out.

I’ve won first place in the SOTM Contest at Daisy Duo!! Huge thanks to everyone who voted for me!! :love: I’m still competing for the vote at Bleahh, so please spare a vote!

In other (apparently random) news, I recently joined SocialVibe, I’ve been playing a lot of Resident Evil 4 on the Wii, and FFR has stopped working (noooooooooooo T.T D= ). Oh, we have an graphics stealer that is loose on the net! I wouldn’t doubt she’s stolen from every site she’s ever seen. For further information on this web-theif, see Carissa’s latest blog entries.

At Cianopi:
I’m still working on a new layout. I’m trying out a design that I’ve never really done before… so we’ll see how it ends up. I’m also almost done with my portfolio/services site. Aaaaand advertising will be up when the new layout is up. + Many more contests and challenges for you guys to take part in.

Oh yes, my birthday’s on the 27th! I think this year my best friend, whose birthday is 3 days after mine, and I are just gonna chill instead of having a big party or anything like that. Nothing too fancy. BESIDES, I’ll have a job and money by then so I won’t need people to shower me with gifts, I’ll be able to get them myself. XD Which can never go wrong because I know exactly what I want! Works for everyone, imo.

Speaking of gifts, here’s what I’ve “gotten myself” so far for Christmas:

• New Moon Paperback Novel. I’ll read it, I promise. …Alright, probably not because I just saw the movie. xD Thing is, I didn’t think I was going to see the movie, but then I did, and blargh.
• Nikon Coolpix S203 Digital Camera o from Target. Okay okay, my cousin bought it for me. lol Thanks cuz! *v*
• American Eagle Marley Flat Boots o from Payless. Thanks, mom! ♥
• JOB AT STARBUCKS?? I still have yet another interview to go through this Friday. Hopefully I’ll ace it and get the job! Wish me luck! :3

Okay, again I’ve been away from the site for while. I’ve been so busy with school and shaz. Matter of fact I’m doing pretty damn well in Information Systems and Business right now. Oh yea, and I finally snagged a job, people! I’ll be working at Starbucks soon. I’m so excited! >D And now I can buy myself my friends and family Christmas presents. *v*

I went ice skating for the first time in my life a few weeks ago. I must say, it was pretty scary getting on the ice at first. It was just so slippery! But after a while I got the hang of it. A few of my friends, however, spent most of the time flat on their faces (and/or arses). One of my friends actually ended up bleeding from a cut she got after falling in the rink. OUCH. And I actually never fell once, and I was so proud of myself! XD My best friend was so scared, though! She couldn’t even make it around the rink holding onto the railing. I felt horrible, so we spent most of the time outside of the rink dancing to the songs that were playing. Might sound like a bummer, but how many of you can say you danced the Macarena from beginning to end in ice skates? Yea. Thought so.

And gawd, I never talked about Halloween! I was a pirate in purple. :3 I thought my costume was purty neat. [pics go here] I’d say I did a pretty good job for a makeshift costume. XD The only thing I had to buy was striped stockings, which weren’t too bad. My friend Christina and I went to this party.. but it was like we were the after party of the party. Most people had left by the time we got there, which was around 11pm. But we made our own party!! And the people there were really laid-back and chill. The crazy folks had left before we got there, and had apparently stolen some of the “refreshments” that were there as well. :ugh: Really was a lot of fun though. And we made a few new pals too. ^^

So like I said, my friend Christina and I went to Makinig II on Saturday. The show was AWESOME, we were like jumping out of our seats at some points. There was just a lot of good energy there. Not to mention a lot of hot guys! :drool: I sware one of the dudes sitting behind us was singing to me the whole show. (Or maybe he just knew all the words to everything and his lovely tenor vocals happened to make their way to my ears and hook me in like a fish in a bucket of water.) Sigh. I should have snagged a number or two. XD

It was awesome though, I’d go again in a heartbeat. There was this moment when Kat Badar was taking pics with people, and Christina and I thought there was a line. So there we are taking cell pics and Kat is sort of looking at us like “What are they doing? There’s no line..” So we walked over and awkwardly asked her to sign stuff. You’ve never seen cute until you’ve seen Kat Badar in person. She’s the epitome of adorable.

We also met JR Aquino. Christina created a fan outta me with this guy. He was fantastic in the show and when we went to see him afterwards, he tried to get Christina to buy a t-shirt. Later on she said to me, “I wish I could have, but it was $25.00!” I simply said, “I feel your pain.” X| And when he was signing my wristband thingy (we had to wear them to so they’d let us in after we paid), he was holding my hand so gently… I think I fell in love. XD No, but he’s Christina’s favorite, I wouldn’t steal him from her. She got me into him after all. (lol I’m talking like the man is available, he has a girlfriend, he said it a thousand times in the show. :ugh: But a girl can dream!) He’s still supremely attractive up close though. I will not deny that. |D

Other favorites of mine included Jay Legaspi, Melissa Polinar, Aj Rafael, Adam Deperio (who messed up but got back out there and did his thing, yea Adam! XD), and the amazing Passion. *o* Great show!! Bravo. The ONLY bad act was KPrime. Sigh. Just sigh. I feel bad for the dude, and I wish him luck. lol

In not so spiffy news, I got into a bit of a rift with one of my best friends this past week. But everything’s okay now. If you want the full story and more details, you can click here.

Oh yes, I also saw Paranormal Activity this weekend. All I can say is, don’t go see it alone, and don’t go see it at night. I saw it in broad daylight with a friend, and I’m still freaking out days later. The thing about this movie is that it doesn’t seem that scary, I certainly didn’t think it would affect me this way. But it’s the after-effect… Yea. I’m done talking about it now. I’m going to go grab something to eat. lol

Babysitting: Thursday, August 27 – Friday, August 28
I had agreed to babysitting for my sister thinking that I was only going to be taking care of my youngest nephew. Turned out I had to babysit two of my nephews and my little brother. The only word I can come up with to describe such an ordeal is CHAOS. Here are a few pics of the terrors (they should come with the warning: adorable but deadly XD):

Hangouts: Sunday, August 30, & Tuesday, Sept. 1
On Sunday, I went out to see a few of my closest buddies. We usually just literally hang out because we’re all broke and none of us have cars. But it’s all fun and laughs, I love them. ^^ Then on Tuesday, I went to see some more friends of mine, one of which I hadn’t seen since I graduated high school! Then there were a couple folks I didn’t know as well who graduated with me also. It’s was cool. And hilarious.

See Charisse, the mutual friend of the group, loves to take pictures and always seems to have a camera handy at crazy and odd moments. There was one moment when we were all at her house where she wanted us to take a picture with us all in a circle looking down at the camera. Well James (the one I hadn’t seen since high school) also had a camera, and he wanted to get the same pics Charisse did. So they both set their cameras on the floor.

We’re all in a circle and ready to go when James realizes he didn’t set the timer on his camera. So he bends down to pic his up and set the timer, meanwhile Charisse’s camera starts going off. No one knew whether to keep the circle pose or to wait until the cameras were both situated…

Then James decides to put his camera back on the floor even though the timing of the flashes are different! We’re all going crazy, going blind from unexpected flashes in our eyes. This was by far the most confusing and chaotic moment of my life. XD The resulting pics follow:

Babysat again: Thu, Sept. 3 – Friday, Sept. 4
‘Nuff said.

Mom’s Bday Celebration: Saturday, Sept. 5 – Sunday, Sept. 6
Saturday was my mom’s birthday as I said in the last entry. We didn’t do too much, even thought it was a beautiful day. My older sister’s came over for a while, but by night time it was too late to go somewhere we all could go (including the young kids). So, we went out on Sunday!

We went to the mall because my older sister wanted to buy my mom a nice outfit, but it was closing by the time we got there (our family is procrastination central). We went to Target to do some quick shopping. We ate really good frozen yogurt at a place called Yogi Castle. (There’s only like one of those places in the world. Stalkers, you’re welcome. ) Then we went to California Tortilla to eat. I’ve been in love with Mexican Food lately. :drool: We had tons of fun, and I met a cute guy there. But I didn’t get his name or number, so… failure? XD

All in all, it’s been a good and hectic couple of weeks which is more than I can say for this entire summer. :ugh: In the next entry I’ll cover more about the site + babysitting week 3! D: Oh, and my best friend asked me to help her make her own blog/personal site. It will be owned by her and her boyfriend. Oh, and School! Again, more details next entry!

I got so many comments on the last entry! More than I usually get within a couple days. And on such a short and compact entry? xD Thanks a bunch guys! I’ll be returning them all week long. Takes me a while to write up comments and blog entries, don’t ask why. lol And on top of that I’m still uber busy with different things. It seems to be gift-giving season in the web world. lol I say this because I’ve received a two gifts recently. One affie gift from the lovely Carissa, and an award for 2nd place in the Icy Sun SOTM Contest from Do!! Thanks to the both of you. :]

Have you guys heard of Craigslist? Well yesterday, my brother sold his old PSP on there for $60. It amazes me that he, a 14-year-old dude, can make 60 bucks in a day, and I can’t seem to land a job aywhere! XD Regardless of my slight envy, I’m proud of him for being smart about how he went about it. He made sure that he met the buyer in a public place, and that he went with a friend. He proved to us (those in the household) that he can be responsible. (Aww, they grow up so fast! *tear*

Now, I don’t speak Spanish. But it seems that I look as if I do… For example, I was at the mall yesterday, and this lady was asking people to try a sample of her product (which I think was some kind of lotion or facial creme). Now I’m pretty sure I heard her speak English to my mother, who was a few steps ahead of me at the time, but when -I- walked by, she looks me in the eye and starts to ask me something in Spanish. The awkward thing about it is that, not only did I not want to try her facial creme sample, but I also had to tell her no in Spanish (which is the same word in both languages, I know. *badum ching*) The thing is, I ended up giving her a part- “What are you saying?” -part- “Go away, I don’t want to try your skin creme.” expression. And with that, I felt rude even though I didn’t intend to be. (I mean, because there are times when I do intent to be rude. This just wasn’t one of those times.)

My point is, why assume? WHY?? It creates nothing but confusion. And this wasn’t the only time in my life that someone assumed I spoke Spanish. As a matter of fact, it happens often enough to me that I wouldn’t mind wearing a sign around that says “NO HABLA ESPANOL“. Don’t get me wrong, I would LOVE to be able to speak Spanish. I was pretty good in 7th grade, but that all went downhill when I switched to French. lol I just wish it wasn’t part of human nature to assume things about people based on appearance.

Edit: And then on second thought, maybe I should just go and learn Spanish. XD

I’ve joined a game site called OMGPOP. It’s purty neat. I’m specifically talking about Baloono (be cause I’m addicted to it :love:). Hit me up!

I’ve been planning out a few new site ideas! One will be a directory of sorts (with a specific theme that I will not yet reveal >D). One will be a neat place for sites that hold contests, challenges, etc. And the last is my portfolio! (I don’t know why it’s taking me so long to put together. I guess I just want it to fully represent me, ya know?)
